Traci Alley, Teacher
I am Traci Alley and I teach threes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I really enjoy working with the threes. They are so full of energy and curiosity. Their imagination and willingness to try new things is contagious. I believe my job is to celebrate each child's uniqueness and gifts and offer them the opportunity for individual growth. To help them learn from both their successes efforts. Before teaching here at Lil Goldman, I worked in the public-school setting for 30 years teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I graduated from Texas A&M and received my Masters degree from Texas Wesleyan.
I have a son and twin daughters who have chosen wonderful spouses. We enjoy getting together as often as possible which isn't always easy as two of them live in Ohio and California. Luckily one stayed in the metroplex. My dog, Watson, keeps me company when we are not together. I am a member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church. I am also a member of The Woman's Club.
Kayla Morris, Controller
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. I married my husband immediately upon graduation. His career took us to several states before we returned to Texas to raise our family.
I worked for a Fortune 200 company as a Financial Analyst before stepping out of the workplace to raise our three children. I was very involved with my children’s school and extracurricular activities serving as treasurer and fundraising chair of the PTO, room mom, athletic booster, and horse stall “mucker.” I also served in Community Bible Study in a leadership role fourteen years which included being Associate Teaching Director for seven years. Now that my children are grown, I’m thrilled to be working again at Lil Goldman.
Arlie Herreros, Teacher
I have been teaching the two-year-old class at Lil Goldman for 17 years now! I love teaching this age so much because they are like a roller coaster ride; you never know what to expect around the next turn, and they are full of endless energy and hugs. Your child starts out as a toddler, but leaves my class as a “big kid.”
I grew up in Washington State and attended both Eastern Washington State University and the University of Arizona. In addition to those, I studied at CECMAC in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico, and met my husband of 27 years there. Before teaching here, I taught at a CPS directed head start program in Spokane for years. I have a son, who is married and has a daughter who is 2, and I have a daughter who is studying her basics at TCC.

Lea Candelaria, Teacher
I have been teaching at Lil Goldman for nine years in the Toddler class. I started as an assistant for the first two years I was here. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Elementary Education in the Philippines. Teaching is my passion in life, and I enjoy being around children. I live in Fort Worth with my husband, Jomar, and our two dogs, Sunshine and Bernie. Being with the toddler age group means teaching them that playing is learning and that learning is fun!
Claudia Slayter, Teacher
Hi, my name is Claudia Slayter and I teach one of the three-year-old classes. I started with Lil Golman Early Learning Center August 2018 but began teaching three-year olds in 1995. I have taught the toddlers, twos and pre-K in the past too. Over the years in addition to teaching I have also been a director. I am happy to be back in the classroom working with the kids. This is my true passion.
I attended Mountain View College after high school. I have my Child Development Associates Certificate, Early Childhood Management Institute certification, and an Early Childhood Coach and Mentor Training certification.
Education is a process that involves many elements working together for a common goal. I believe that a successful teacher knows that every child can learn and has the potential to succeed. Every student is an individual and has their own learning style. Learning should be student centered, authentic, and interdisciplinary. Learning should also be interactive, engaging and creative.
Laura DeLuna, Teacher
Hi! My name is Laura DeLuna, I am the lead Tweenies teacher here at Lil Goldman. I began working at Lil Golman in the fall of 2017 and I am so happy to be here! I received my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017 and I hope to get my Master's in the not too distant future. I began working with kids as a volunteer at an after-school program while in high school and loved being around them. While in college I worked at a Child Develppment Center with the tweenie (18-24 months) age group and fell in love with it. This age group is fun and curious. The growth and development during this age is amazing and the moments when they learn something new are the best! When I'm not with little peopleI enjoy spending my time with my two babies (cats) and my family.
Rita Timmons, Teacher
I have been working at Lil Goldman for the last 12 years. I have worked in a Pre-school environment since 1991. Prior to working with infants, I worked with 1-2 year-olds and school-age children. I have two grown boys and three grandchildren. They are the joy of my life! My family was in the Air Force for 20 years before we retired here in Fort Worth 24 years ago.
Esther Wolf, Director
I am so happy to be a part of the Lil Goldman Early Learning Center family.
I have worked in the field of Jewish education in the metroplex for over thirty years. I was a Hebrew Language Coordinator at Levine Academy in addition to being a preschool teacher and Jewish Studies and Enrichment Coordinator for the preschool through fourth grade. At Congregation Shearith Israel, I was the preschool director for seven years and then became the assistant, religious school director. At Congregation Beth Torah Preschool, I was also the director.
I plan to bring my vision of integrating the Hebrew language, Jewish traditions and universal values to an academically sound but developmentally appropriate curriculum at the school. I look forward to working closely with the families to provide the best possible environment for your children. During the preschool years, we will lay the foundations for future academic successes. My staff and I will prepare the students for any learning environment, public or private, that you choose for your child after graduatingfromLil Goldman School.
After growing up in Montreal, Canada, I graduated from Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan, Israel with a Bachelors in Education and a minor in Psychology and Jewish Studies. I then moved to Texas where I received a Masters in education specializing in Early Childhood from North Texas State University (now UNT). I am married and have two grown sons and one wonderful grandson.
My door is always open; please feel free to come in and visit with me with any comments, questions or concerns.
